This weekend we have been shooting a short film written and directed by Mariah Boucher with Maria Alejandra Agüero as the director of photography. We are very happy to be part of this project in which we are also contributing with some songs of our album Polaroids for the soundtrack.
Currently all the copies of our first album Polaroids are SOLD OUT except 4 copies that we keep in Spain. You can get a digital copy of it in Bandcamp.
We are thinking seriously in a reedition/limited edition of our album Polaroids (American Edition).
Yesterday was one of those magical nights, a milestone. Used to intimate live concerts, playing to an audience of more than, I don't know, 200 people? and receive such energy was awesome. Not playing your regular instruments is not easy. Going out on stage with just an ukulele is not easy. The silence, the respect and the absolute dedication of the audience was amazing. Their applause and their later comments. We only have words of gratitude. One of the best audiences, without a doubt. We will take a thousand new little memories of that night, we met wonderful people, soooo many smiles and beautiful words to us. It was pleasantly overwhelming.
Thanks, thanks, thanks. I never thought we would end up playing in the USA, and much less that the feedback would be this one. There are dreams which come true, and this was always one of ours. Thinking that we started with this band less than a year and a half ago and this beautiful things are happening to us, is an absolute gift for us. And having the privilege of sharing it with the person I love the most, anyways, I have no words (that moment together in the backstage before going out will remain in my heart forever). We feel very happy, we are happy. Learning and growing.
This Friday October 24, 2014, Harmony & Dave will appear at the concert organized by the ICIC (Ithaca College International Club).
